Biography
Dr. Etik received her B.Sc in Applied Chemistry from Kumamoto University. After college, she joined master’s program at Kagoshima University. She worked in the laboratory of Prof. Yasuo Hatate where she studied production of ethanol from distilled shochu mash through saccharification-fermentation. In 1998, she started her Ph.D work at the same laboratory and focused on preparation and characterization of monocored porous polystyrene microcapsules for cell immobilization carrier. Dr. Etik has a high dedication in research writing, besides writing dozens of scientific papers, she also wrote four books about herbal and pharmaceutical sciences. Her interests are focused on the application of nanotechnology in cosmetics and vaccine adjuvants. In particular her research group is currently working on understanding the alteration of human immune system after the use of nanomaterial products.

Biography
Azza earned her bachelor in biological science from Brawijaya University. She moved to Japan and was awarded her master degree in Advanced Life Sciences with major of biomedical science at Ritsumeikan University, Japan in 2017. Her graduate work was focused on the proteomic study of one of protocadherin family protein (pcdh-8) on hippocampal synapses after seizure induced. After completion, she worked as a science teacher in Japan International Academy before joining NCIRI in February 2020. Currently, she interests in understanding how the usage of nanomaterial as food, drug or cosmetics may affect to human metabolism.

Biography
Maya graduated from Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science. Her undergraduated thesis was under supervision of Dr. Muhammad Nursid and Dr. Priyanti with focused on the cytotoxicity assay of fungi associated with marine invertebrates against breast cancer cells (T47D cells). During college, she worked as an assistant lecture for experimental class of systematics of plant growth and development in Integrated Laboratory Center (PLT UIN Jakarta). She conducted her college internship in Research Center for Marine Center and Fisheries Product Processing and Biotechnology (BBRP2BKP) focused on Cultivation, Extraction, and Pigment Assay for Microalgae. Currently, she works in NCIRI as a researcher at food, health, and pharmaceutical division.

Biography
Wahyu graduated from University of Indonesia in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and continue in magister degree in University of Indonesia and graduated in 2015 with a Magister of Science in Material Science. After graduation, he worked in Nano Center Indonesia Research Institute as a researcher in Food, Health and Pharmaceutical Division under Dr. Etik Mardliyati. In late of 2019, he was appointed as secretary in Center of Intellectual Property in Nano Center Indonesia Research Institute. He also worked from 2016 as lecturer in Industrial Engineering Department in University of Nahdlatul Ulama Indonesia in Jakarta.Wahyu graduated from University of Indonesia in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and continue in magister degree in University of Indonesia and graduated in 2015 with a Magister of Science in Materials Science.
