Dr. Alfian Noviyanto received his Ph.D in Materials Science and Engineering from Yeungnam University in 2013. After completion of his degree, he was appointed as a postdoctoral researcher in the Optical Single Crystal Group, Research Center for Functional Materials, National Institute for Materials Science, Japan from 2013 to 2017. His interests are focused on the advanced ceramic materials for functional or structural application. His project at NIMS was synthesis and sintering of lanthanum oxynitride. Moreover, he also developed a new method to obtain a nanosized titanate oxide, namely Chemothermal Pulverization (CTP). Currently, his research is working on understanding sintering of silicon carbide using spark plasma sintering, developing nanoparticle manganese oxide from local manganese ore, synthesis and sintering of hydroxyapatite from waste as well as calcium titanate oxide.

Galuh Sukmarani

Reseacher of Mineral Processing Group Research

Galuh graduated from Bandung Institute of Technology in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. Her undergraduate research with Dr. Mia Ledyastuti focused on the synthesis of microcrystalline cellulose from corncob and study its effect for oil-water interaction as well as rock surface for application enhanced oil recovery agent. She also conducted a research about breaking oil-water emulsion using copper sulphate and bottle test demulsification method. Currently, Galuh is interested in fabrication manganese ferrite by mechanochemical method and synthesis manganese oxide from manganese ore by hydrothermal method.

Mudzakkir Dioktyanto

Reseacher of Mineral Processing Group Research

Mudzakkir graduated from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember Surabaya in 2018 with Bachelor of Engineering (Cum Laude) in Materials Engineering. His undergraduate research was under supervision of Lukman Noerochim, Ph. D., which was focused on effect of milling time in lithium extraction process using hydrometallurgy method. He has a high interest in Extractive Metallurgy, Recycling Material Process, Renewable Energy and Energy Storage, as well as Biomaterial polymer technology. Currently, Mudzakkir has been conducting project research about zirconia extraction from zircon sand using mechanochemical method in mineral processing research group.
